Welcome to Lakefront Labradoodles breeders of mini Australian Labradoodles. We are located in the Finger Lakes, Western New York. We believe our dogs are part of our family so are treated as such living in our home with us.

We have been involved with canine therapy for 3 years doing nursing home visitations with our 8 ½ year old dog Sheena (Lab/Shepherd) who has her Canine Good Citizens Certification. Knowing Australian Labradoodles were initially developed as Therapy/Service dogs we adopted our first Australian Labradoodle, Moxie whom we purchased as our pet and aspire for Moxie to join our Sheena in therapy work. Ally is our breeding female for whom we also would like to enter into the rewarding world of canine therapy work. It seemed a nature fit for us to combine our two loves of canine therapy work with our Australian Labradoodle program. Australian Labradoodle have wonderful qualities of kind spirit and gentle nature along with non to low shedding, hence, very asthma and allergy friendly, makes them an ideal therapy/service dog or family companion and pet.

The multigenerational Australian Labradoodles began with Wally Conren, the head breeder of the Australian Guide Dog Association, coined the name and first breed the dogs on purpose in 1989. Many years of research have gone into the development of the Australian Labradoodle. Through careful genetic selective breeding has created the wonderful breed we know and love today.
